Section Eight

The highlight of Section 8 is the climb up and over Lo Fu Tau, also known as Tigerhead, giving outstanding views of Discovery Bay on one side and the back of Lantau Island looking across to Tuen Mun on the other. The top of Lo Fu Tau is about 50m off the Tinworth Trail but is highly recommended. After enjoying the view, head back to the Tinworth Trail and carry on down on the Lo Fu Tau Country Trail for about 3km until you reach the Olympic Trail, then turn right and take this all the way to Pak Mong Village.
